Coast Guard again blocks planned MA LNG project

The Coast Guard has dealt another setback to a proposed liquefied natural gas terminal. The project proposed for Fall River by Weaver’s Cove Energy LLC has drawn opposition from residents and officials in Massachusetts and Rhode Island who say it poses unacceptable risks.
